South Shore of Moraine State Park

Directions

From I-79 North (From Pittsburgh)

• When you are on I-79 heading North, look for the Portersville/Prospect sign (Exit 96)

• Turn right on Portersville road. After about 1 mile take a slight left onto Pleasant Valley Road.

• Keep following it until you reach the park, you will pass the park office on your left.

• The road will turn into a one-way road. You will pass the beach area, Crescent Bay is just a little farther on your right.

From I-79 South (From Erie)

• When you are on I-79 heading South, look for the Butler/New Castle sign (Exit 99)

• You will now be on Route 422, head towards Butler and follow signs for the South Shore of Moraine State Park.

• After you take the South Shore exit, make a left on Pleasant Valley Road. Keep on this road until you reach Moraine State Park. You will pass the park office on your left.

• The road will turn into a one-way road. You will pass the beach area, Crescent Bay is just a little farther on your right.
